Trio Klara Flieder

Cellist Christophe Pantillon was born in Neuchatel into a Swiss-american family of musicians.He started playing cello with J.-P-Guy and Elena Botez before continuing his studies with Heinrich Schiff at the Music Acadmey Basel, with Valentin Erben at the Vienna Music University and with Ralph Kirshbaum at the Royal Northeren College of Music in Manchester. Mr.Pantillon has been played chamber music ever since his childhood. He moved to Vienna in 1992, and in 1998, he founded the aron qaurtet, quartet-in-residence of the Arnold Schönberg Center.He is also principal cellist of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, member of the „Leschetizky Trio Vienna“ and gives regularly duo concerts with his wife, the violinist Klara Flieder.

Klara Flieder (violinist) comes of a family of Viennese musicians and studied with Grete Biedermann at the Vienna Conservatory, obtaining her diploma “with honours”. She then completed her studies with Christian Ferras in Paris and Arthur Grumiaux in Brussels. She took part in master classes with Henryk Szeryng, Nathan Milstein and Augustin Dumay.
She has given many concerts throughout Europe, both as soloist and as chamber musician. Klara Flieder performed at international festivals (Kuhmo Festival in Finland, Midsummer Music Festival Umea in Sweden, Carinthischer Sommer,…) and in famous concert halls such as the Vienna Musikverein, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, the South Bank Center in London.
Klara Flieder was a longstanding member of the Flieder Trio. She collaborated with renowned musicians such as Pierre Amoyal, Roberto Benzi, Vladimir Mendelssohn or Ernst Kovacic.
She is a member of the “Leschetizky Trio-Vienna” and has recorded for EMI, Dabringhaus & Grimm, Extraplatte and Preiser Records.
Klara Flieder has taught at the Music Universities of Vienna and Graz and regularly gives master classes in Austria, Sweden, Spain, Italy and USA.
In 2005, Klara Flieder was appointed Professor at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg.

Biliana Tzinlikova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1974.
After her piano studies at the State Music Academy in Sofia (Marina Kapazinskaja) she then studied with Andor Losonczy and Christoph Lieske at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg, where she graduated with distinction in 2001. She also attended masterclasses with Paul van Ness, Arndzej Jaszinsky, Pierre Amoyal, Pavel Gililov, Menahem Pressler, Alexander Lonquich, Klaus-Christian Schuster, Claude Frank. In particular, Biliana Tzinlikova was influenced by meeting and working with Ruggiero Ricci and Ferenz Rados.
She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at numerous Festivals in Europe and USA including „Mozartwoche Salzburg“, and “Steirisches Kammermusikfestival“, and the Festival in Prussia Cove, Cornwall, United Kingdom.
From 2003-2005 Tzinlikova was a member of the Trio with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. She made her debut in 2004 at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, and since then has played with musicians such as Klara Flieder, Christophe Pantillon, Thomas Selditz, Thomas Riebl, Ulf Schneider.
